Boudoir photography is such an intimate and vulnerable form of photography so when you decide to book the boudoir photoshoot just for yourself, you’re saying YES to stepping outside your comfort zone, you’re putting YOU first and you’re putting in the work to create a safe space within your own body. So yeah, gifting a boudoir album to a partner is absolutely amazing but when you come into your session with the mindset that this is for YOU, you aren’t worried about the expectations of others, you’re not worried about if they’ll like the images or not, you’re only worried about how you FEEL in that moment and how you feel during your boudoir session in my Edmonton boudoir studio will always be more important than what others think.

You just turned 70 and you’re looking back on your life, you pull out those boudoir albums that have been sitting on the shelf for decades and you start to flip through. You see your 20, 30, 40 something self with much kinder eyes then how you used to look at her. You become overwhelmed with gratitude that you have these printed copies of images to remind yourself that no matter what you were going through at the time, you were and still are beautifully resilient and you’ve overcome so much.
Boudoir photography is so much more then just sexy photos. The experience you receive in my Edmonton boudoir studio is truly life changing and my biggest hope is that the confidence you emulate in your session, carries with you for the rest of your life. Your boudoir images are just the cherry on top and are little time capsules that hold so much memory and so much strength.
