Have you ever wondered when you’ll see your wedding photos for the first time after your wedding?
Hi friends! I’m Taylor, a professional wedding photographer from Edmonton Alberta and today we’re chatting about wedding day sneak peeks and full wedding day galleries!
What is a sneak peek?
Sneak peeks are a handful of photos you receive from your wedding photographer, usually within the first week of your wedding day. Every wedding photographer is different but here’s how I do things:
The first thing I do when I get home from your wedding day is back up all the photos I took on 2 hard drives, this ensures there’s multiple copies of your photos saved in multiple different places JUST IN CASE. Your wedding photos are some of the most important photos you’ll ever take so it’s my job as your Alberta wedding photographer to keep those babies safe!
Once they are uploaded, I cull through every single photo and hand select all the best ones I’ll include in your final gallery. Then I comb through even deeper and try to find 30-50 of my absolute FAVOURITES, these selections will be your sneak peeks which I typically try to deliver to you within the first 48 hours after your wedding day.
Full wedding day galleries
Take 8-12 weeks to be delivered so getting sneak peeks out as soon as possible after your wedding day has always been so important to me because I know how excited you and your family are.
So within 48 hours of your wedding day, you’ll have a handful of finished images to view and share with your friends and family and hopefully that’s just enough to hold you over until your full wedding day photo gallery is finished!
If you choose me as your wedding photographer, you’ll receive your full wedding day photo gallery within 8-12 weeks of your wedding day. I deliver an online gallery for easy viewing, sharing and downloading. My favourite way to view your final wedding day gallery is to snuggle up together, put on your wedding day playlist, grab a drink/ snack, turn on the slideshow and watch your wedding day unfold.
