Miss M’s Boudoir Experience | Edmonton Boudoir Photography

we’re back

and it’s about time we brought you another glowing boudoir photography review from one of our beautiful boudoir clients who decided to say F*CK YES to the boudoir session this winter! This was miss M’s first ever boudoir experience and I’m so honoured she trusted and chose me to capture it, but you never would have known it was her first just by looking at this stunning final boudoir gallery.

The thing is, most women think they need some kind of experience to do the boudoir session. They think they’ll look silly or awkward because they’ve always deemed themselves as “unphotogenic” but you’ve just never been guided into a pose properly, you’ve never been told how to breath during your photos to get the perfect facial expression and you’ve never been coached through a movement to get that perfectly candid feel.

Trust me, I hear “I’m really awkward in front of the camera” in sooo many of my boudoir session consultations calls or inquiries, in fact, most women you seen here on my website have probably said that or felt it at some point in their lives but don’t worry, i got your back.

The guidance from me doesn’t just start when you’re in front of my camera, it starts in that first consultation call, in the prep guide you receive in the weeks leading up to your boudoir session, in the pre-session crash course you get before we actually dive in and then of course when i’m posing you and directing you throughout your entire boudoir session.

This was her first boudoir session, but you never would have known that if i didn’t just tell you!

her kind words

How / where did you hear about Tay's Photo's and Beauty?

Facebook

Why did you book a boudoir session?

A gift for my partner and to also boost my self confidence.

What drew you to my work specifically?

How everyone looked so amazing! Also, talking with Taylor beforehand made it even more of a great experience, and she made me feel really comfortable.

How did you feel leading up to / before the session?

A little nervous but once the day came I was so excited.

What are some feelings you felt at the beginning, middle and end of your session?

At the beginning I was a little nervous and second guessing myself, but once we came into it I felt extremely comfortable and confident. Then towards the end I also didn’t want to stop and wanted to continue going with how comfortable and confident i was feeling!

If you could pick one word to describe your entire boudoir experience, what would it be?

Fantastic!

What would you say to friends or family that have thought about doing a boudoir session?

I would definitely recommend Taylor because of how comfortable I was during the whole session with her!

What's something you would like to feel looking back at these photos in 5, 10, 20 or even 30+ years?

I would probably feel really happy and proud of myself because I came so far out of my comfort zone and got some absolutely amazing pictures done!

Would you do another boudoir session in the future? And for what milestone / event or just because?

Yes I would definitely do another session in the future! I would do it for more myself next time.
