All of my wedding photography packages here in Edmonton Alberta include a complimentary engagement session because not only is this a great time to celebrate such a special time in you and your partners life but it’s also a great way for us to get to know each other first. I speak a lot about how important it is to KNOW and TRUST your wedding photographer before the big day and your complimentary engagement session is just an extension of that.
Complimentary engagement photography sessions are especially important for those who might be a little camera shy or for those who have never had professional photos taken before, which if we’re being honest, is most people! During your Edmonton engagement photography session, you get to experience exactly how the portrait photography portion of your wedding day will go but on a smaller, less stressful scale, which is a HUGE bonus.

chose Chickakoo Lake Recreation Area for their engagement photos! Chickakoo lake recreation area is located in Parkland County about 15 minutes North of Stony Plain Alberta. It has incredible walking trails surrounded by multiple lakes and lots of outdoors to explore! If you’re looking for a great location close to Edmonton to take your engagement photos or just to take your dog on a walk, Chickakoo Lake is amazing!
